- Yinaltegin, Taj al-Din
- A noble who was in the service of Nasir al-din Qubacha until 1221. On the arrival of Jal al-Din Mingbarni in the Salt Range region, he joined the Khwarazmi prince. Subse-quently, Yinaltegin established himself as the ruler of Sistan. One of his cousins, Saif al-Din Firuz, was in Iltutmish's service. Yinaltegin possibly belonged to the category of freeborn Turks hailing from Khwarazm. He was overthrown in Sistan by an invading Mongol force in 1235.
